The Empire State

The Empire State building was the tallest in the world when it was finished in 1931. Located on 34th street between 5th and 6th avenue in midtown Manhattan it was the first building with over one hundred floors.Since the day of it's opening to the present time it remains one of N.Y.C's major places that tourist visit. The empire state building is not just a new York city icon but an American one. It's world famous for such thing as the king kong movies and it's magnificent three story lobby. With it's beautiful daily light show it illuminate the New York City skyline. The empire state building is currently the tallest building in the city. The empire state is also host to every major tristate radio and TV broadcasting company. Companies such as CBS, NBC, ABC, WQHT, WCBS and others uses it massive antenna for it's transmissions it was also originally part of a plan for accommodating airships.
