Central Park

When it come to attractions in New York City, Central park is a world with in a world. It was Designed by Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux during the mid eighteen hundreds. Laying in the heart of Manhattan the park stretch from 59th street in midtown to 110 street uptown . Central park covers some 843 acres and is in the shape of a gigantic rectangle. The park has several ponds and lakes 7 all together. Central park also has its own zoo, ice skating rink which is a great winter spot, a boathouse, Bridges, and several other features and tourist attractions. This park is even famous for it's wild life, like pale male the hawk and his harem of mates and offspring. Another animal not usually seen in NYC, a willie coyote was captured just last week. If you stood in the center of central park you would swear there was a city for miles. Ironically when you leave out any of the four corners of the park your back in one of the most crowded cities on the face of the planet. If ever you decide to take a NYC tour, remember this one is free so load your cameras to enjoy and capture its great scenery
